OK, this does not go to praise the "Shopaholic" series by Sophie Kinsella, although all my friends and family can confirm I am a big fan of them.
I just find it very very close to an intuition I had about the "emotion triggers" (see the Publications section) and, better yet, a proven hypothesis that has been used over and over again in marketing, politics and... why not say it... when we want something from someone who we can get to by just making those biiig saaad eyes :). Yeah! Tell me you've never done it :)!!!
